"Photographers deal in things which are continually vanishing and when they have vanished there is no contrivance on earth which can make them come back again." -Henri Cartier Bresson

I love photographing people because they are so spontaneous and unpredictable. Every smile, flash of the eyes, or movement of the lips is an indication of personality created out of things that person has experienced. There is magic to being able to capture so much emotion in a fraction of a second.

A good photograph should make the viewer think that some kind of magic might be at play. Whether I'm shooting a wedding, a personal portrait, travel photography or a live concert, it's my job to capture these moments people will remember and cherish forever. I have dedicated my life to learning from the great photographers of history.

My favorite photographers are the ones I learned about in college who in the early 20th century defined what we know as modern photography, masters like Paul Strand, Alfred Stieglitz, Edward Weston, and Henri Cartier Bresson. I emulate what these photographers did and so my style is a bit "old-timey." I appreciate style and class as opposed to flash and glitz, and I produce true portraits that portray the people in them with great honesty.

I think you will find that my style of photography will compliment your magazine, wedding or portrait session perfectly, I strive to create beautiful prints your friends and family will adore for generations.
